From Harney & Sons

This is the first time we are offering this tea or any tea from this far south in China. It is located in northern Guangdong Province on the southern edge of the tea belt. It is named after the traditional western name for the capital of Guangdong. For centuries, Europeans bought tea from Canton. Although they were usually made farther north.

This tea is a delightful discovery. We love dark honey flavors and medium body

Shocked I haven’t had this before. It tasted soooo familiar but I guess not. Even the leaf felt super familiar. But anyway, this was a nice fuller leaf. Lots of stone fruit notes. Pretty good. Can get bitter easily so it’s one you should be more careful with when steeping. Nice solid tea.
