Description

A beautiful late spring 2015 Nepal tea from Jun Chiyabari with lush notes of orchids, nuts and peach. One of our favorites!

DRY LEAF: Soft bold leaves with abundant tips and notes of hay, grass and pepper. Although the tea maker describes it as a fully oxidized tea, the leaves still bear a green character achieved through hard withering.

INFUSION: Olive and brown with an exquisitely floral nose.

CUP: The liquor has a light golden sparkle with a highly pleasing floral aroma together with strong notes of peach and ripe mango. Lovely complexity in the mouth with a slight briskness, and a long refreshing aftertaste.
