A rare Ceylon Tea available in very limited quantity. This Tippy Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe Fannings Extra Special (FBOPF Extra Special) offers tightly rolled black leaf with prominent tip. “Tippy” refers to the flacks of light coloured “tip” which comes from the tea bud and denotes quality. When infused, the leaf develops a coppery tone, and yields a bright infusion. The liquor has a firm body with a malty character and some astringency. This is a strong tea with a rich personality, exhibiting the soul of Ceylon Tea.
