My stomach hurts tonight so I thought a ginger tea might be in order. The idea of a straight ginger blend is deeply unappealing to me in this moment though so I pulled out this fruity ginger blend instead to see if that might do the trick…
Too early to tell on whether it’ll help my stomach properly settle down for the night, but I do think the balance of sweet juicy blackberry and slightly tart hibiscus followed by hot ginger tickles across the palate is quite nice. I freaking love Cranberry Gingerale and it’s finally the time of year when that’s back out on shelves, but I recently finished off the 12 pack I bought and haven’t had a chance to buy more. This tea, however, is loosely giving me those same vibes. Good balance of tart top notes and ginger body/finish.
Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts and feelings regarding the teas, and not the company’s.
Hmm, I love blackberry and ginger so this is on my to-try list. Sorry you didn’t enjoy!
