Bought this tea on a whim because of the description.
The scent of it was INTENSE when I first opened the bag and had brewed a pot and wasn’t sure at first, but it slowly grew on me in taste and smell.
It may not be a constant buy for me, but a ‘once in a while’ tea purchase.

Edit: Taste got real old, REAL fast.

Was a little overpowering. Can’t pin down which ingredient in particular. Still tasty. Will try steeping for less time.

Another one from my most recent purchase from DAVIDsTEA. I was hoping to get a sort-of-substitute of Mom’s Apple Pie (which to my dismay was discontinued earlier this year) and I’m pleased to say I’ve sort-of-found-it.

This is an apple-y green tea with hints of other “stuff”. I don’t get much pistachio flavour, but the nuts themselves do add an oil-like texture to the tea. Doesn’t sound very appetizing when I put it that way, but I like it. It adds richness. The rose petals definitely add a rosy flavour which I like in moderation and this one doesn’t overdo it. It doesn’t have cinnamon in it to make me think of apple pie, but it’s almost exactly what I was looking for. I’m satisfied.

Rose is usually not my favourite floral, but something about the smell of this tea was just really intriguing, so I went ahead and bought it anyway. Even though it is indeed very strong on the rose, I really like this tea! It’s definitely quite perfume-y, but that’s sort of the appeal of it. It does feel very exotic when you’re drinking it. I find it can also be quite nice when mixed with other teas to mellow out the strength of it.

I’ve been steeping my greens below 90 for longer than 5 mins and the results have been great. Persian Apple is no exception. Try it with a slice of apple (appleception!) and a tablespoon of honey. Just great!

Smells like marzipan and roses; tastes light and not too strongly of tea.

I received this as a sample in my order & thought this tea was ok. It’s definitely drinkable but more floral than I like for my tea. I don’t think the apple flavor is nearly as noticeable as in their Mom’s Apple Pie (which I like a LOT better.)

I usually add a bit of sugar or stevia to my tea, but found that this one didn’t need it. However, this isn’t an overly sweet tea. There aren’t any sharp notes to it and it has a pleasant apple flavor reminiscent of Granny Smiths. I really like this one and I’d buy it again.
