2 Tasting Notes View all

“The first cup was over steeped slightly and a touch bitter. Second steep was successful. It tastes a little grassy and it is smooth, but is it far from amazing. Actually, I find it kinda boring.” Read full tasting note
“This tastes sooo vegetal and buttery.” Read full tasting note

Description

Grown on the slopes of Japan’s famous Mount Fuji, these dark, glossy leaves are the very first plucking of the year. When steeped, they make a deliciously complex sencha: clear and emerald green, with notes of creamy butter and fresh mountain meadows. This steamed, very high-end organic tea is also known for its top levels of antioxidants. Steep it more than once to experience its full range.
