Ingredients: cardamom, ginger, black pepper, cassia, white pepper and nutmeg.

An ancient chai spice recipe to make delicious chai. Makes 60 cups of delicious chai. 4 types of chai recipes included in package.

Perfect Cup of Chai
In a cup add ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon Daksha’s Gourmet Chai Spice, 1 tea bag of your choice (plain black, green or rooibos teas works well). Add boiling water and steep for 2 to 4 minutes. Remove tea bag and add milk and sweetener to taste.

Chai Smoothie
In a blender add 1 cup vanilla ice-cream, ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon of Daksha’s Gourmet Chai Spice, 1/4 cup milk and 1/2 cup ice cubes. Blend till smooth. Serve in a tall glass and enjoy!

Traditional Chai
In a pot bring to a boil, 1 cup water, ¼ to ½ teaspoon Daksha’s Gourmet Chai Spice and 1 or 2 tea bags of your choice (plain black, green or rooibos teas works well). Add 1½ cups milk. Bring Chai to a boil again. Remove from heat, strain Chai in a cup or mug and add sweetener to taste. Makes 2 cups.

Ice Chai
In a large mug add ¼ to ½ teaspoon Daksha’s Gourmet Chai Spice. Add boiling water and stir. Place in refrigerator to cool. Add sweetener to taste. Serve with ice and a slice of lemon.
