This 2003 half sheng/half shou fine and complex pu erh tea is viscous and brilliant in color. It possess nice, light chi, which uplifts the heart and threatens to burst into song at any moment. It’s sweetness lingers on the palate long after drinking; this characteristic, called hui gan in Mandarin Chinese, is another quality which is shared by all truly excellent teas. It is a superb introduction to the teas of Master Bing, and one we recommend to anyone new to pu erh tea for its richness.
