Mingfeng mountain (鸣凤山) ancient tea garden is one of the twelve famous ancient tea gardens in Yongde area, at around 1900 meters of altitude, and also is an extensions zone of Tanglishan Nature Reserve. Mingfeng ancient tea garden has more than 800mu (1 mu=0.0667 hectares), is higher and larger than Mangfei tea garden. This region of mixed forest provides ideal conditions for the growth and well-being the tea trees. Tea trees grow with other kinds of trees such as pines and Betula alnoides. Mingfeng large-leaf tea have been identified as a provincial high-quality variety.
There is a village with about 66 families. Tea farmers still work according to the old and traditional techniques to produce pu-erh tea. Kill green in wok, sun dried maocha. Lantingchun Tea Factory selected the first picking of spring materials and pressed into 357g cakes carefully with stone. Dry leaves have similar strong aroma with Mangfei teas. Full steam ahead!!! This has got to be the most hopped up I’ve ever gotten from drinking a tea. I bought this on a whim, since the description implies it is similar to Mangfei teas. I love the Yunnan Sourcing Mangfei teas, which also get me quite hopped up, so I thought I’d give this one a try. It is pretty good. It holds up well, has a nice golden color. Some sweetness, astringency that you might expect in a young tea, and good all around flavor. It’s not stellar, but I like it quite a bit, especially for $22 a cake.
I think I need to hem you down and find out how much shipping is from them.

That cake used to be $12! Almost doubled in two years. We came about two years too late to the party.
Does the shipping process mean a flat rate? I have been on their site trying to figure it out.
You have to put some items in the cart, and choose your country/state. My last order was $24, so it is not a flat rate.
