From the renowned Euphoria section, exclusively reserved for the AV2 cultivar, the Avongrove garden presents a batch of black tea. This first plucking of the year, explosively aromatic, has led to the regional reputation as: the champagne of black teas.
The fine leaves rich with buds give a sweet liquor with the lightness of a white tea. Lacking none of the typical First Flush vigour this thirst-quenching tea delicately fills the mouth with subtle notes of wild flowers and sweet spices (aniseed, cloves) to finish on a mildly saline minerality.
To be savoured at any time of the day.
