With their bluish tint, these lovely long, twisted leaves are picked one by one without buds or branches. Bamboo brooms are used during desiccation to turn the leaves in the heated vats. The misty liquor offers a very interesting arc of flavours: at first, a taste of yellow flowers appears quietly then is followed by a sweetness that suggests strawberry jam, and culminates in a vegetal finish reminiscent of avocadoes.
