Although the material for the tea has changed over the years, the spirit remains the same: a clean white tea that delivers a refreshing experience.
The material for this iteration uses spring Jinggu material that was oh so close to achieving organic certification. The shortcoming came in the way of the land acreage being shy of the requirements to be certified.
This material is also much more bud-heavy than previously, giving this tea a strong umami/豪香/hairy fragrance quality. Sweetness abounds in the soup and the huigan, making this a hard white tea to beat for the price, and one that we highly recommend picking up for short and long term drinking.
