Dating back to the Tang Dynasty, Gunpowder Green Tea is named after its resemblance to gunpowder pellets used in cannons. Select tea is withered, steamed, rolled and then dried. The rolling of the leaves makes the tea less susceptible to physical damage and allows it to retain its flavor and aroma. This tea is popular in Morocco, where it is often mixed with mint and sugar.
