For those who enjoy intense strong brews, there is absolutely nothing that can beat this tea. This is a medium quality CTC production of the smallest leafstyle. Traditionally, this leafstyle is used for high end teabags and premium breakfast blends. This tea offers an extremely strong body that is best enjoyed with a dash of milk or cream. It has a dense textured liquor, good malty aroma, and outstanding bite at the end of each sip.
Satrupa Tea Estate is in Upper Assam, at the eastern-most part of the Assam region. This area has rich red loom soil, year-round tropical wet climate, and old-growth forest all around. Satrupa is on the periphery of the last contiguous rainforest tracts in the Eastern Himalayas.
