From Angelina's Teas

These golden green leaves are rich with the scent of early spring pollen and offer the tea drinker a real treat. Our Dragon Well will cup to sweet and nutty liquor with light chestnut overtones, while enlivening the palate with hints of green tea astringency. One of China’s Famous Teas, our “Long Jing” is first-grade, artisan-crafted using a select local varietal that offers strong flavors in a traditional-style that seeks to balance hints of astringency and natural sweetness. The leaves are carefully plucked bud sets that are traditionally worked in a wok to a pan-fire style. The result is uniformly shaped, elegant jade-green leaves that have an understated yet distinct straw-yellow coloration. We think it is best steeped briefly, one to 1.5 minutes, to enjoy the subtle qualities of the leaf.
