“This is the best balance of bergamot and green tea flavor I’ve found, and the tea is quite tasty. If only I liked the bergamot better. There’s something odd about it – it tastes like it was cut...” Read full tasting note

Description

This unusual, appealing twist on a classic British tea is a connoisseur’s Earl Grey. Forest-green leaves with flecks of lime and spring green are imbued with the intense, peppery, fresh aroma of bergamot from Calabria, Italy. They brew into a spring yellow-green with a milky, hazy appearance. The aroma is at once classic Sencha (marine, vegetal and sweet) and juicy, vanilla-tinged bergamot. Clean and full, fresh and green, the flavors of this tea are nuanced and pleasingly dainty. Notes of tart-sweet citrus and lightly steamed asparagus with a squeeze of lemon juice wash over the palate, and are followed by a perfumey bergamot aftertaste that’s sure to delight event the most traditional of Earl Grey fans.
