Cold Brew Sipdown (715)!

A little weak/soft tasting but still pretty good; primary flavour is actually the white tea which isn’t ever really a bad thing – and I typically enjoy the white tea base that AQ2T uses. I wish there was something more distinctly “ice brandy” tasting but I do get a delicate sweetness and fruitiness that’s not just from the white tea.

Err, It was alright? It reminded me more of Squish’s blue ice cube gummies then it did of ice brandy (unless we’re talking about that Mass Effect cocktail shot, because it tastes exactly how that looks).

More butterfly pea blossom blueness in colour and flavour, with extra cornflower blue.

A fascinating tea – the eucalyptus works really well, and comes out much more strongly in later infusions. The cooling effect is also really interesting – I think this must be the first tea I’ve had with eucalyptus that didn’t pair it with a bunch of other herbal ingredients I don’t like – so it’s the first time I’ve actually noticed and enjoyed the result. As for the flavour of the tea in general, it was pretty good, although my memory has faded a bit now (so all I’m remembering is the eucalyptus in today’s second infusion).

I don’t even know how to describe this tea. Medicinal, vanilla, a little bit of sour, mint?, spicy ginger, slightly vegetal tea as the base I think. Maybe the flavour of creamy vanilla icebreak? It is all very confusing. It is almost cool and medicinal, yet is fruity and sour, while having desserty vanilla present as well.

This tea is bizarrely alien. Vanilla and eucalyptus with a berry note rose from the bag. I have to write another paper for work, and I have an emergency. I know that I’m running my stash low. But I need more tea.

I brewed for a little bit and it was the usual white tea color. Near four minutes, the tea turned into a highly translucent aqua green color. The smell was like vanilla and what I’m going call fermenting grain, almost like a beer.

I taste it, and damn. I’ve tasted very few teas like this, and the few I refer to are from Lauren. You can definitely tell this is a white tea with it’s natural creamy and light texture. But the liquor is really sweet. It is practically a candy laced with vanilla and a lighter eucalyptus taste. I ‘m also tasting a bit of grain and something that I want to call blueberry, but isn’t. It’s almost sour. I’m guessing that’s the brandy.

It still smells strong, and I’m brewing it two more times to get more out of it.

I still am sore about Eggnog Poundcake and wanting more of that, but I HIGHLY recommend a try of this just because of how unique it is. I’m really not sure how else to describe this tea, and I don’t know if the berry taste is accurate, but that’s the best way that I can think of describing the other sweet aspect of this. The longer you steep it, the bluer it gets.
