The 5th Tea of Christmas 2024!
I have always loved POG juice (the combination of Pineapple, Orange & Guava) & worry not, I do intend to one day craft a true POG tea – however, I thought it would be fun to create a holiday twist on the POG acronym. So, our 5th Tea of Christmas & as well as our second “new” tea for this year’s box is Holiday POG Punch Green Tea (a combination of Pomegranate, Orange & Ginger!)
This wonderful holiday blend starts with a combination of Chinese green teas (Chun Mee & Gunpowder) to which I added ginger, oranges & some pomegranates – as well as a little bit of cinnamon, cloves & a touch of honey essence (it’s VEGAN!) This blend is so lovely – it’s warm, cozy & refreshing!
It reminds me of something you might enjoy at a holiday party – I love it!
It’s organic, vegan, gluten-free, allergen-friendly & all natural! I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do!
organic ingredients: green teas, ginger, oranges, cinnamon, cloves, pomegranate & natural flavors
to brew: shake the pouch gently before measuring to ensure that the ingredients are thoroughly combined. Use 3g of tea to 12oz very hot water (175°F), steep for 2 minutes & allow the tea to cool for at least 5 minutes to ensure that the flavors fully develop. Enjoy!
serving suggestion: I’ve enjoyed this lovely tea served both hot & cold-brewed. It’s fabulous either way – so brew it the way you want! I do recommend adding a little bit of sweetener (I used a little less than ½ a teaspoon of sugar for a 12oz serving) because the sweetener really energizes this tea with flavor! It’s also good without any sweetener, but it really POPS when you add just a little bit of something!
