Tea of the Week for April 8, 2024!
I wanted to create a tisane that is distinctly springtime & I think this tea is definitely springtime in a teacup! The delicate notes of lavender with the soft, apple-y notes of chamomile, the light, fruity notes of green rooibos together with lemon, orange & lime. It’s bright, it’s refreshing & pleasantly sweet. Crisp yet mild, this is the perfect cuppa for any time you want something that will refresh your palate while calming you. It’s naturally caffeine-free & makes a perfect bedtime cuppa.
Organic, vegan, gluten-free & allergen-free – this tea is designed to soothe your senses. It’s perfect after a hectic day! This is the tea to turn to when you need something delicious yet relaxing.
organic ingredients: green rooibos, chamomile, lavender, marshmallow root, lemon balm, lemongrass, lemons, limes, oranges & natural flavors
to brew: shake the pouch well. Measure 3 ½ grams of tea to 12oz of very hot water (190°F) steep for 10 minutes. Strain & allow to cool for at least 5 minutes. Enjoy!
serving suggestion: this tea tastes great as a hot cuppa, but it also makes a refreshing cold beverage. I like it unsweetened – but it’s also quite nice with a little drizzle of honey (I tend to turn to raw, locally harvested honey in the spring when my allergies are out of control – and this is a delicious way to consume some of that magic!)
I love this more than I thought I would! It tastes like spring in a teacup! It’s so refreshing & makes a really nice evening cuppa!
