A nice family has been running this spot for a few years now. The decor is a bit hodge-podge, but everything else is really nice. They have delicious South African treats and tons of Roiboos teas, as well as the usual selection of green/black/etc. You can reserve afternoon tea a day in advance.

For afternoon tea, the Georgian is a bit over-priced for the food. The setting is a gorgeous, old-fashioned hotel with really high ceilings and a ton of light. If you want to feel really fancy, it’s a good spot. I’ll give them a higher rating because the weekend brunch buffet is a much better deal than the afternoon tea and has a tempting array of treats.

Freshly made crumpets and piping hot tea that’s properly brewed, good combination. Their staff are a mixed bag – sometimes really nice, sometimes brisk and grumpy. Although that’s probably because of the long lines. There’s not a lot of seating so plan to walk to a nearby park or wait for a bit.

Great selection of their own loose leaf tea and other brands. They’re nestled into Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market and well worth a visit. I go there to refill my stash of Barnes and Watson’s Star Spangled Banner herbal tea.

A small selection of good teas and excellent food from local shops (Salumi cured meats and Beecher’s cheese). This is an off-brand Starbucks, a large, darkish cafe with natural lighting and plenty of seats. It gets busy and people love to work on their laptops, so it has a fun vibe.

Modern tea room with ample seating and an enormous tea selection (over 100 kinds). They have everything from single origin to blended, scented teas so there’s something for everyone. I was a little sad when they stopped doing the afternoon tea with sandwiches and such, but they do have a decent selection of treats.

They are overpriced and cramped, the food is decent but not special. The kitschy decor is cute but I wouldn’t recommended it.

Really lovely little shop selling tea. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The tea shop has an air of steampunk and the tea comes in vintage-looking test tubes.
