I know this is going to sound weird…but the dry aroma of this totally reminded me of a few of my favorite Indian dishes (like Dahl)!!!
Once infused the tea color liquor is a bit on the lighter brown side. The taste is quite amazing, tho!
It tastes like a gentle black tea with a combo of herbs, spices, and a bit of mint – just enough to make it fresh on your breath! It’s crisp and airy.
Many of you know I HATE the term “mouth feel” and I use it VERY sparingly…but I can’t think of what else to call it…it just has an AMAZING Mouth Feel….eeeeek…I even cringe when I type the phrase…sorry! It’s like the other words than make me weird-out…like “Shindig” and “Panties” – I FREAKING HATE THEM.
BUT…the good news is…I LOVE this tea!

Your post made me laugh. :) I have never ordered from Upton, but that’s going to have to change. This tea sounds great!
Glad to have put a smile on someone’s face today :) teehee :)
Let me know if you do place an order – I’d love to see your reviews on any you try! They have over 480 different ones, tho! LOL :)
Fun side note: you are not the only one who is weird-ed out by the term ‘panties’. I know one girl who absolutely cannot stand that word as well as ‘moist’.
I hate the word ‘moist’. Hate, hate, hate it! My total disgust for that word began in 9th grade biology. My teacher said that word everyday, and it seemed like she always had spit at the corners of her mouth when she it. Ugh. Totally gross, but there you go.:)
Changing topics… 480 teas… I think I only have 5 on my to-buy list. I’ll start with those (including this one!), and see where that leads me.
