Thanks to Liberteas for this one! I found this in the bottom of my yet-to-be-tasted box!
This was interesting and creative – I do appreciate that – and I did get two solid infusions out of this but I’m not sure if it was in my upper 20 percentile if ya know what I mean. It was REALLY SMOKY with a little bit of Apple – so it was very much like the tea name and description – but it was quite smoky and the smoke hit my uncertainty button I guess you could say.
It wasn’t bad tho :) Glad I got to try it :)

Very random combination, but I like the sounds of it. Interesting =)
Wow, that does sound interesting! I think i am more likely to follow in Bonnie’s footsteps and add a pinch of lapsang souchong to other teas to give them a bit of smokiness, rather than risking an overpowering blend where you can’t separate the two! But apple and smoke does sound like it has potential…
