8 Tasting Notes
This tea is delicious, slightly spicy, sweet and warm. It would be great as a latte. Steep for a longer time for a deeper, stronger flavour. Add some honey and it’s great. This almost reminds me of a Christmas tea.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Cloves, Coconut, Peppercorn, Smooth, Spicy, Tropical
Preparation
This tea is good but not great as others have said. It smells fantastic, creamy and delicious, but unfortunately it doesn’t taste that way. It has a smooth, slightly creamy taste, but then a bitter, leafy aftertaste. It honestly smells great- it smells exactly like a green tea kit kat. I wish that’s what it tasted like. This is one of those teas that smells way better than it tastes, especially for the price. I would not buy this one again.
Flavors: Bitter, Cream, Grass, Green, Milk, White Chocolate
Preparation
This tea is delicious and soothing. Steep longer to get a stronger taste of peppermint, ginger and orange peel. There was just a hint of ginger and fennel which was nice, it wasn’t too overpowering. This is a great tea to have after a big meal, or just before bed.
Flavors: Fennel, Ginger, Orange, Peppermint, Smooth
Preparation
This tea tasted too artificial for me, and I couldn’t handle the combination of lavender and coconut. I found it left a bad aftertaste. It was like a sweet scent mixed with a floral scent, just didn’t do it for me.
Flavors: Coconut, Flowers, Lavender, Perfume, Rose
Preparation
This tea is awesome, especially when you have a cold. It’s full of flavour- you first smell/taste the peppermint and eucalyptus then the second notes you taste are the juniper berry and orange. It really helps to open up your sinuses. It is very minty and slightly sweet. Steep it longer for a more strong, minty flavour.
Flavors: Eucalyptus, Mint, Orange Zest, Peppermint, Sweet
Preparation
This tea smelled very fruity, but when steeped was disappointing. It was very sour and had a bitter ending flavour. We actually received two jars of it for a gift, and we returned the second one. It tasted off to us.
Flavors: Bitter, Coconut, Pineapple, Sour
Preparation
This is my favourite flavour from David’s- it never disappoints. It smells sweet, just like birthday cake. It tastes like it too, it’s smooth and sweet. I don’t have to add any sugar. I like to steep it longer to bring out the flavours. Everyone I have given this tea too loves it.
Flavors: Cake, Sugar, Sweet, Tea
Preparation
This tea is just okay, you need to add a lot to get a strong flavour. I found there was an underlying sour note that I didn’t like. I expected it to have a more smooth, creamy taste and was left disappointed. It was slightly nutty but lacked flavour. I wouldn’t buy this again.
Flavors: Nutty, Sour
