35 Tasting Notes
Out of my entire 24-flavor Tea Forte sample chest, only three flavors really stood out. White Cinnamon Sage was one of them, Chocolate Coconut Truffle was another. Apricot Amaretto was the last.
I adore the combo of apricot and almond anyway, so this seemed like a no-brainer for me. The apricot is juicy without being overly sweet, the floral almond flavor compliments the apricot taste so well. I might have to commit to a full tin of this one.

Good lord that SMELL
Thankfully, the heavy rosemary smell didn’t translate to the taste, which was predominantly hibiscus with a hint of orange. Second steep got more rosemary. All in all, not impressed.
Flavors: Hibiscus, Tart
Preparation
As people have said before: an unapologetic orange tea. Punchy and tart and refreshing. Awesome iced, and hot with a bit of vanilla syrup. My family adores it, we ordered several tins.
Flavors: Orange

Delicious! Toasty coconut with just a hint of sweet floral lavender. I adore coconut, so this was my idea of perfect. Excellent with a baby-tiny-bit of sweetener and a hint of half&half. One of my favorites of David’s lineup.
Flavors: Coconut, Lavender, Toasty

Another combo I never expected to work, but turned out amazingly.
The savoriness of the sage mixed with the subtle floral flavor of the tea and natural, smooth cinnamon makes for a shockingly good tea latte, or just as a hot tea. Cold less so, but this is the first Tea Forte product I can say I loved.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Sage
Preparation
Deliciously fruity and herbal with just a twinge of green tea to balance things out. Very comforting as a hot tea. I’ve yet to try it iced, but I have a feeling i’ll enjoy it even more.
Flavors: Apple, Lemongrass
Preparation
Smells lovely, but the taste isn’t that amazing.
The apple and cinnamon flavors are both very natural-tasting, but also very light. Not much else to say, it just didn’t leave a big impression on me.
Flavors: Apple, Cinnamon

Yeah, this one just didn’t work for me.
After a few sips, I realized it tasted like something familiar: hardly tomato and hardly mint, but more like a steak seasoning or rub. Couldn’t finish my cup.
Flavors: Herbs, Peppercorn
Preparation
My favorite of the veggie teas thus far. Broccoli Cilantro has less of a broccoli taste and more of a pesto, herbal flavor that’s surprising pleasant as a with-dinner drink. I didn’t expect to like any of the veggie teas, but this one made a great impression.
Flavors: Broccoli, Herbs, Pepper

I purchased a Numi sampler not too long ago, and the Chocolate Pu-erh really stood out. The chocolate was creamy and understated without tasting artificial or like a carob product, really excellent iced. I’m going to have to commit to a full package soon.
