Pretty mediocre, just as Herman at Vital Leaf said. It’s lacking in any real flavor, and it has a bite of a really young shou. Gimmicky is a good word, but I was warned, ahead of time, and I wanted to try it anyway.
The flavors are almost sheng-like, which is not impressive in a shou. The tangerine notes are subtle and not terrible, as an addition, at least.

I keep finding myself wanting to get one of these shu stuffed tangerines to try, mostly just out of curiosity :)
I think, though, that I might get another one and age it, just to see, if five years will make a difference. (Assuming that it does not get lost in that time.)
Right! I’m still looking for a bag of Sichuan caravan that I misplaced back around the Holidays. I’m sure it will show up…eventually…

Don’t have high expectations and you won’t be disappointed. Haha.

Hopefully not with a funky taste from wherever it was lost!
