5 Tasting Notes
What a pleasant surprise! I received this in the mail from a friend as a birthday gift, actually an alternative to a $5 birthday card. I have a lot of rooibos in my cupboard and am often disappointed that the rooibos overpowers the other flavour. Not here. I thought the almond complimented and brought out the rooibos for a nice refreshing tea. The almond wasn’t overpowering or artificial tasting either. I can’t wait to try another tea from Tea Haus!
Gorgeous tea. I received the Winter Collection for Christmas and this tea was the first in the package to be used up. Fruity, nutty, spicy, yum. Makes a GREAT tea latte. I really hope David’s keeps this one as one of their regular teas and don’t just save it for the holidays.
Hands down one of my all time faves. I discovered it on my maiden voyage to Teavana in Chicago about 6 years ago. I’m in Canada and there’s no Teavana here (yet!) so the last time I went to Buffalo, NY I stocked up. Just finished the last of it the other day. Sniff. Thankfully I’m focusing on caffeine-free now, which this is not. But I will always consider it my first love. And if anyone knows of a good alternative to this tea at either Teaopia, David’s or any other Canadian chains PLEASE let me know!!
My bagged tea day are pretty well a thing of the passed but this one is still a favourite of mine. It’s a good caffeine free alternative to chai, with the cinnamon, cardomom, etc. flavours. It’s great with milk or as a tea latte. I shared some with my best friend’s daughter when she was 2 1/2. She called it “Tiger tea” because of the tiger on the box. And so Tiger tea shall forever be its name.
