This stuff tastes like it was watered with perfume or someone dropped a bottle of cologne on this batch.

I have tasted this in teas before I think it might be intentional. Though, why anyone would want to lick an old lady’s makeup case is beyond me.

This has a hint of musty earth tones. Not exactly unpleasant, but not something I would seek out in a tea.

It is a good heavy tea to fall back on when you want something more than, ‘a black tea’. However, I will not be order this again.

A really great black tea. It tastes like someone spritzed a honey mist into the air and passed the tea leaves through it. Just enough to let you know it is there, but not enough to make it sweet.

drank Citron Green by Adagio Teas

I am slowly becoming a green tea fan. Not quite there yet.

This tea is great. However the flavor is heavily dependent on the amount of citrus bits you get in your infuser/cup. Those little citrus crumbs tend to settle towards the bottom and so every time you go back to this tea it packs a large punch.

That punch is good. It is a very lemongrass-esque with the pull down tones of a light green.

I would highly recommend this tea for non-green lovers like myself. Just make sure you shake well before opening.

A moderate oolong that lacks anything of interest. It was pleasant enough that I plan on finishing the tin, but I am not sure I would bother with it again.

drank Silver Needle by Adagio Teas

There is a slight hint of sweetness at the beginning that is supported by a piney grass which doesn’t show until the end.

It is not a bad tea for late night relaxation after your palate has had a break from dinner and dessert.

You have to work too hard for this tea.

drank Assam Melody by Adagio Teas

This tea is amazing! It is so amazing that in order to drink more of this I washed a coffee travel mug and it is now my Assam Melody mug!

It has everything one could ask for in a tea. The flavor is not idle, it dances all over the place and grabs your attention at every sip! It teases at first waits a moment and then blooms into citrus, melon. I expected it to fall back down into a black dryness, but it shocked me by veering over to an almost earthy note and stopped short. This tea does that at every sip, it doesn’t dampen towards the end like most teas.

This is the first tea that I can’t wait to reorder in large vast quantities.

drank White Monkey by Adagio Teas

With years of coffee snobbiery I have created a finely tuned palate, or so I thought. Either that or this tea demands too much concentration in order to taste anything.

This tea removes the flavor from hot water.

I have tried 3,4,5min steep times and varying water temperatures to no avail.
