New Tasting Notes

An excellent sencha for the price. Best prepared in a kyusu with a water temperature of 160-165 degrees F. Pleasantly grassy and I can get two to three decent steeps per scoop.

this is my most favorite tea in the world.
i like it iced & warm.

I usually don’t like Stash green tea, but this is really good. It’s very flavourful, although it tastes a lot like strawberries.

It’s very decent. Would make a good everyday tea.

I get this loose, though I’m not sure there’s much difference. A good, no-nonsense tea to have around!

Had this with breakfast. I think I can say goodbye to my old friend coffee. That is in the morning. If having chocolate cake, well then that’s another story!

My favorite everyday tea!

It was really delicious and mellow.

I made it in a teapot, then transferred the resulting liquid to a teacup, which I then drank using my mouth.

The Tea Table’s Tung Ting Jade Superior is a delicate oolong tea with a lingering orchid bouquet. The flowery nose and tongue invite you to close your eyes and take in every sensation from this sweet liquor. This selection will produce well-balanced pots from its first three steepings.

Really like this tea. Stick a few pouches in my work bag for good energy on the go! Light on the tongue and light on the caffeine.

Another Cup.

This is a very nice, dark oolong. It has a pleasant astringency and is amber/red in color.

My 2nd Cup of this. Extremely dark in color! The flavor seems to be something I was craving today. Hit the spot quite well! YAY for TEA! Happy Weekend!

The barista at Atlas Cafe wasn’t sure where they got their tea from, but looking at some of the containers on the shelf, I have a hunch it was this one. Was in the mood for something light and it did the trick.

It’s still delicious and satisfying, but the tea got ground up a bit on the trip home and there was a lot of sediment.

I’m neutral about this one…like the idea of green chai…doesn’t smell or have a memorable taste tho. It’s very ’Plain Jane". Not Bad, but not excellent either.
