New Tasting Notes

Tried this tea hot for the first time. I definetly enjoy more as an iced tea. It is kind of overpowering but is a refreshing sweet treat when its iced on a warm day.

I really enjoy drinking this tea when I need to relax and have a mellow afternoon.

Exactly what I was looking for after a sushi lunch and some egg custard. Steeped for 2 1/2 minutes, the citrus was just right for my tastes.

Great breakfast tea…think I’ll have another cup!

This is my cup of joe every morning. It hits the right ‘morning pick-me-up’ note and is a pleasant tea. It’s one of the only commercial teas I drink.

Thank God this tastes better than it smells! Phew! But the taste was ok. Thumbs up if you are looking for something a little different.

Very smooth and wonderful fruity flavor without being overly sweet. The pineapple and strawberry flavors are just barely peeking through for a great hint of sweet goodness. Steeped for 4-5 mins, but I think I may have used too little tea so it is a little weaker than I would expect (should have used more tea or steeped a couple minutes longer). Also, as a side note that may have affected my tasting, I had a handful of rainbow nerds shortly before my cup of tea…interesting way to approach a fruity tea tasting :)

Flowery and peaceful. A nice cup of tea for a break in the action of a busy day.

Steeped 4 minutes.

The orange flavor is well complemented by the rose hips, and gives it a taste similar to cinnamon at times.

Another first for me…never had this one before. It’s an average tea in a bag. Not very strong. You can taste the lemon…not so much with the honey.

It’s a good value for a 10 year old black pu-erh. I picked this one up at Tea Lucky in Taipei, Taiwan. The proprietor carries a large selection of pu-erh, both young and old.
Like most black pu-erhs, this one lacks many of the subtle flavors and richness found in the green pu-erhs.
