New Tasting Notes

This is what I’m drinking at work at the moment. It was part of a christmas gift, bought it a small local store where my parents live. Keemun in general is one of my favourite blacks and is no different.

Drank a cup for the hell of it and the SMELL of it! :)

One of my favorites. Down to my very last cup! I’ll definitely be reordering this tea in large quantities, as soon as possible.

Smells like roses, but there’s a mellow vanilla-black taste to it. Very mild, but a good morning and early afternoon tea. :)

A very enjoyable Earl Grey. Strong black tea base with a smooth bergamot finish. Much better than most off brand Earl Greys, with no overly fake or bitter bergamot taste.

You can smell a hint of Jasmine. Light green tea taste. I’m not tasting the Pomegranate tho. Still pretty good but not very strong overall.

Very easy tea to make at work. I don’t really need to be concerned about the water being too hot. Also wonderful with honey when sick. tastes like candy canes!

Yum!! This tastes like dessert (if you couldn’t tell by the name).

The floral notes in this tea are perfectly balanced and not overpowering like many floral teas can be.

Not too shabby

Next to no scent. Not a very strong Earl Grey taste but the Pomegranate, bergamot, and lemon aren’t over powering either. It’s a pleasant cup but not over the top in any way. Good for those who are not into the tru tea taste, I suppose.

This may become my staple breakfast tea. Malty aroma, complex. Brews nice from te sachet. May try to order some loose to have on hand though…

mm nom nom. i love this, it’s in pyramid tea bags and the taste is really fruity and lush.

Mmm, mint teas. I pretty much love ANY mint tea, though Iam picky about general flavor and such. This isn’t as smooth as Ineeka’s tea, but it is pretty delicious and light – though I sometimes feel very heavy (not as in weight) after I drink it.

I’m not the biggest fan of green tea, I won’t lie. But, this wasn’t a terrible tea, though I won’t necessarily run out to get another box; and Numi’s a fairly good brand.

This is a pretty good tea, my mom’s favorite really. Not exactly my thing, though.

I got this tea in a trade and was really curious. It’s a very green oolong, with a truly unique flavor. I can’t say I like it in large doses, and I couldn’t stand it cold, but it’s definitely worth trying. It brews up pale yellow and tastes… “purple”. It’s hard to describe, really. There’s a vegetal oolong taste, but mostly… it just tastes purple. The tea itself is lovely to look at, however… lots of green, blue, and yellow.

A bit sweet for a hot tea, but perfect a tea to ice for summertime – actually it’s extremely good for that. I highly recommend that.

This is my all-time favorite tea, hands down. There is something just deeply soothing to me about it. I catch myself sniffing my canister of it because it smells so delicious. I can’t say the taste is pure plum, though. I think there’s a hint of vanilla and something else. I just can’t get enough of it.
It’s a real shame they don’t make it anymore… I guess other people didn’t find it as amazing as I did. I’m glad I got a pound of it before it was all gone!
