New Tasting Notes

This is pretty good.

For one thing, I love Revolution’s sachets – the teas are full leaf and there is always plenty of fruit and other ingredients in there.

This tea is very light and delicate. The hint of pear flavor is nice – I was worried it’d be too strong, as I don’t normally enjoy pear that much.

Still love this tea. As others have noted, it is pretty light so I usually brew it with more leaves than usual. Mmm.

Very calming and the Linden (Lime Tree) Blossoms smell awesome.

This was served to me with a rather large teabag, one of those mesh numbers that have a lot of room to allow proper infusing. I wasn’t expecting this to taste as it did, with a solid vanilla flavor along with some notes of cinnamon and I think I even got some apple in there. Or maybe I was just looking for the apple flavor when I got the cinnamon. Hard to say… Nevertheless, I found that it had a kind of sweetened taste to it despite having nothing added in. Anyone who sees this on the menu at their local Starbucks would be doing themselves a favor to try this out when they got the time.

This is the second bag I received from the greatest person on earth, coming in the form of a subtle white tea from The Tea Garden. The leaves have a very powerful floral aroma, like taking a stroll through a greenhouse. Good greens and browns on the leaves with the petals nicely interspersed. The tea gives you that same floral smell and taste, with just a nice hint of sweetness to keep it from being overly fresh and earthy. The delicacy of the rose and the white tea work well to make a balanced and extremely refreshing experience. Great for relaxing and lounging on the couch after a hard workout earlier today.

This iced tea tastes better after it has been refrigerated overnight. It seems to mellow out. Then I have several glasses of fast, easy refreshment on hand. I brew and store in glass for best result.

This tea is becoming a standard for me. Milk and sweetener work well with the ginger, but it still makes its presence known through piquant flavor and lasting warmth.

Very good.. Great Pu-erh flavor with an infusion of orange from being fermented inside. Smells kind of like tang before it’s steeped, but the brewed flavor is very good.

Delightful floral smell. The taste isn’t quite what I expected based on the smell. Still nice but not as sweet maybe?

Nice dark and comforting. I like this one for sitting and studying. Fantastic over ice.

I love the smell of this one but it still doesn’t compair to the one I had that was loose leaf.

This one is OK but I can still taste the bag. It does have a nice surprise of lemon flavor which is nice.

I normally don’t like peppermint tea but this one is nice. It feels kind of Christmasy to me. The boy is not fond of it. He likes plain better.

I made a 2 quart pitcher of this tea…iced of course. I have been drinking it through the day and it is quite refreshing. Slight hints of cherry and not too sweet. I steeped it for only 4 minutes and it is not bitter.

Not my favorite. The boy wants to buy it again to mix with the pear since he would like the fruit tea to be an actual tea. I find it kind of fishy.

I think this steeped for about 2 hours! Earthy. Added a bit of milk as time went on. Didn’t finish the cup.

Ths tea is really good with some soy-milk and sugar.
