7 Tasting Notes
There’s something missing in this blend to make it truly a gingerbread experience. Maybe I was expecting the gingerbread version of sugar cookie sleighride? Regardless, I wish it had the buttery cookie notes that I would expect from a gingerbread spice tea, besides just “SPICE!”
I have a love/hate relationship with this tea. I loved it when I first started drinking it, but now it tastes so extremely bitter and bleugh. It’s too much everything—spice, bitternotes, everything.
It’s a shame, I typically love seasonal teas. Plus, now I’m stuck with a completely undrinkable tea.
Flavors: Autumn Leaf Pile, Earth, Nutmeg, Sweet Potatoes, Tobacco
To me, this tastes and smells just like a sugar cookie. WARNING: Some people do not have this experience, but it nerfed all my cravings for sweets during the winter.
The more I’m typing this review, the more I want some right now. Thank goodness I bought so many boxes!
Flavors: Bread, Butter, Vanilla
This was my morning drink during the dredge of winter—unfortunately I only bought one box (as the other C.S. seasonal teas I bought were decaffeinated) so I never found a replacement. Definitely a vanilla and spicy way to start a morning!
Flavors: Nutmeg, Vanilla, Wood
