Mary’s is brand new in La Jolla. With a lot of tea shops closing its great to have one open. Their English Breakfast is something special with a malty almost spicy flavor. They have an cute collection of tea pots and real china (and they serve with timers and strainers and its nice strong English style tea) They also have Pur’Ehs, some Chinese and Indian and other teas and blends I haven’t tried yet. Great scones and sandwiches and super friendly staff that let us linger for hours and “refresh” your tea pot when needed. Its quickly becoming a regular stop for me but I need to move on to trying their other teas!
