I’m very grateful for this small little tea shop in Porter Square. As a tea-loving girl from the San Francisco Bay Area, I was shocked by the tiny selection of tea shops in the Boston area. Even though every time I’ve come to this place in the last two years the shop looks like in the middle of changing locations due to all of the packaging boxes and disorder, it’s a great little place.
It’s much cheaper than most other places in the area and has a decent selection. It has all of the big names of each type of tea, even an assortment of rooibos and chai. It also has some great flavored teas and tisanes. It also has some teapots and mugs that I’ve eyeing.
I find that a lot of their teas aren’t as flavorful as some other brands that I order online, but it’s the best local place that I’ve found so far.
