55 Tasting Notes
This was given to me as a gift, and it is one of the best teas I’ve received! (Thanks, Amelia :) ) Good for keeping me alert at work, I love the balance of the grapefruit and lemongrass. I put 1/2 sugar in this. I might try adding milk next time!
Preparation
I received a tasting pack from David’s, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this tea! It tastes more like butterscotch to me, but that’s quite alright haha. I like adding two milk to this one, seems to make it even smoother!
Preparation
My mom brought this home so I thought I would give it a try! I don’t like stevia or peppercorns particularly, and I’m hit and miss on white chocolate, but I do love mint and anything Christmas-y, so it’s a tossup. About halfway through the cup, it is alright. The immediate, initial taste is not my favourite, but the flavours come together nicely in the after taste. Will need to try a few more times!
Preparation
My mom has some of this, so I thought I would give it a try as she and my sister rave about it. (I can’t remember if I tried it last year or not.) I made it and then put it in my thermos to have later at work. Maybe it was the fact that it wasn’t fresh (the tea didn’t sit in it, but it was ~3 hours old) or maybe it is my thermos, but it kind of tasted like cherry cough syrup. Anyone else had this experience?
Preparation
I grabbed a small amount of this the other night, just to try it. Just opening the bag made me say, “Nuh uh.” I sealed it shut and put it in my swap box for someone that I know loves it.
Now that I have some more time, it’s back to Steepster I go!
This is tied for my number one tea, and I just went to David’s to buy myself another 250g, as I was on my last 50g bag. My throat is a little sore today, and once again, the peppermint is helping! I think I might cut down to half a sugar, though.
Preparation
Honestly, this tea doesn’t jump out at me as anything spectacular. It might be because I usually drink more of the flavoured teas, but this even seems to fall short of Twinnings breakfast tea. Maybe I’ll try a shorter steep next time.
