this one was ‘the gamble’ from my last DAVIDsTEA sample spree – i love bananas but hate artificial banana flavour, and i had no idea which way this would go.
the oolong is a really nice, delicate, milky base for the light banana flavour that does come through. it reminds me of the taste of frozen bananas, how they lose some of that classic banana flavouring and gain a frosty, sweeter, more candy-like taste. now i want frozen bananas dipped in chocolate!
overall, a really nice tea. i quite enjoy it!
