1629 Tasting Notes
This is a comfort tea for sure. Great to drink this indoors when it’s cold, rainy, and gray outside. I feel so warm and cozy. The description for this blend is spot-on. I had a sample of pumpkin spice, and I didn’t enjoy it very much. This blend was well balanced.
Preparation
Not bad… not bad at all! I feel very sleepy right now, and I decided to take something decaffeinated. Serenitea: Kaylee was just right. I’m a big fan of rooibos, especially rooibos vanilla. This blend was complimented nicely by the wild strawberry mix. It wasn’t too fruity or tart, and it added a nice sweetness to the tea. Not very saccharine, but a nice, mild honey-like sweetness. The rooibos vanilla mellowed out the fruits. Calmed me down even more. Sleep well! Good night!
Preparation
This is a nice morning or afternoon tea. It was mostly black tea with a hint of citrus. The caramel scent stood out and the flavor gave the tea a very slight sweetness. A nice blend, and no one flavor overpowered the other.
Preparation
The name exactly describes the taste! I smell coconut! I am so sensitive to its scent and taste. And there is definitely a mild lime taste to it… especially an aftertaste. I feel like I would like to make a margarita!
Preparation
Peach and Nuts! I enjoy trying teas and trying to figure out what flavors are there and what type of tea it is. By looking at the dry leaves, I was guessing oolong. They smelled faintly peachy. After I had steeped it, the peach flavor and scent came on full strength in a good way. It was followed by a warm, nutty flavor and aftertaste, which I love.
This must have been the almond oolong! Some oolongs have that nutty warm taste on my palate. I enjoyed this treat. After tasting it plain, I decided to try it with a little sugar and milk, which didn’t take away from the flavor. Good tea, happy me!
Preparation
First, I think the name and description is so romantic! Second, this is IMO the best blend I’ve come across during this SB box pass!
Dry, it smells mildly fruity. Steeped, it smells tropical and toasty. It is like summer passion! Getting cozy under the tropical, hot sun. Oh how I miss the summer and warm weather! This is a great tea that is well blended. It is warm and fruity. It isn’t tart. A great mix! I added a little sugar and milk. I am definitely going to buy this blend after I’ve finished off some teas. (I have so much tea that my tea cabinet at home is overflowing!!!)
Preparation
I’m on the fence about this one. I think I need to take a break from the Signature Blends because they are starting to all taste really similar. This one tasted a little different, but still very similar to the other SBs I’ve had. Maybe the flavors and scents became all mixed together in the SB box. I liked the peach and vanilla in this, but I couldn’t taste the rum. This one was sweet yet warm at the same time. (I really need to expand my vocabulary). Decent blend, but not loving it. I’m in like not in love.
Preparation
Valentine’s again! I smell it a lot when the leaf was dry. After I had steeped it, the chocolate and coconut smell and taste were overwhelming, in a good way. I added milk and sugar, which helped calm the mixture. I usually am not a fan of coconut tea, but this one was done very well. The cinnamon added a touch of spice. Valentine’s didn’t stand out so much to me, but there was a slight strawberry aftertaste, which was tasty.
Overall, this is my favorite Twilight SB so far. :) My fav coconut blend!
This is one of my FAVORITE signature blends I have created. I add milk and Splenda to this blend and it always puts me in a calm zen like place.
