1629 Tasting Notes
Finished this up making a huge pitcher of iced tea! It was a nice journey trying Mighty Leaf’s sample set. I don’t think I’ll be buying a large tin of this or any of the other Mighty Leaf teas I have tried. I love trying new things! Anyway, I added a slice of lime to the iced tea and a little bit of Adagio’s lemongrass. Refreshing!
Preparation
The smell of the dry leaves is amazing! I’m a fan of bergamot, and this tea has a nice balance of flavors and green! The leaves look like gunpowder.
Once brewed, the liquor was a nice deep orange-yellow color. The smell was less intense but still delightful. The taste was great! I can imagine this can become bitter if brewed for too long or too high a temperature. It had a fruit aftertaste that lingered in my mouth. Delicious and it wasn’t strong either. :)
Preparation
I loved this chai blend! At first I was hesitant since I’ve been disappointed by chai blends in the past, but this one was smooth and well blended! There was a creamy, coconut taste to it, and it wasn’t overpowering either, which was great! Overall good tea! Especially with sweetner and milk! I can’t wait to try it with coconut milk!
