Pass the Kombucha, man!
This tea for the longest time had me slightly concerned, and it really wasn’t the tea’s fault it was mine for knowing what Kombucha is. If you don’t know Kombucha is a culutre that grows on tea of all things, it is comparable to a mushroom like fungus, thus my worry when I read Kombucha in the title, but man was I ever wrong!
Dry this tea has a nice citrus aroma to it, the mango really had a presence to my nose, it was very appealing. The tea has a few nice bits of color mixed in with the oolong leaves. Steeping the citrus aroma becomes stronger and more pleasing, at this point the tea had me slightly salivating, a good citrus (or chocolate) tea is a weakness of mine.
The final brew is a nice golden color and has a great citrus aroma, the flavor is light but very tasty, one sip and all my concerns of Kombucha were dissolved. It’s the second oolong I have had, the other being Vanilla Orchid, I personally like this one a bit more. This is a must try for citrus and oolong fans.
