I’ve been drinking this tea all week and haven’t written a note yet! Shame on me.

This is no generic fruity chocolate tea. This is a decadent spoil-me chocolate tea that I’m really glad I chanced on. The chocolate flavor is cocoa-y and natural, like a really smooth dark chocolate. It’s got that little bit of a chocolate liqueur note (which some good dark chocolate itself seems to have, so it’s completely welcome here), that I’d imagine with milk would probably remind me of something like Godiva Chocolate Liqueur.

Then there’s a layer of floral flavor from the rose that really satisfies the sweet element I found myself wanting here, followed by a fruit lift that hits me as strawberry.

Like the the other two reviews, I also did not have any hearts in my package. I really don’t think it needs them, for taste or appearance as this tea already excels in both.

Weirdly enough, this tea doesn’t make me think spring or summer. It’s certainly fruity, but it’s more a fall drink, when the cherry bounce and cherry cordial comes out and you sip it to keep yourself drunk and distracted while your argue politics and ask when you’re finally getting married.

It’s a really nice cherry cordial flavored tea, with a smooth vanilla accent. The black tea base is really light and stands up to abuse. (I oversteeped a cup yesterday and it didn’t faze it). Because of the whole taking a beating thing, it makes a really great bring to work tea. Maybe I could use it for coworkers exactly how I use cherry cordial for family!

There’s so many chunky fruity yummy bits, I could totally eat this as trail mix! (Fiance and I both had to nibble the fruits before we made a cup. Too tempting!)

Tastewise, and I’m not sure how with all the fruit and trail mix feel, it’s tastes like vanilla marzipan. It’s a little uncanny. The end note of each sip has a little but of fruity lift, but otherwise? Dead on.

I’m gonna be really sad when this is gone. This is like a perfect comforting before bed caffeine free cup.

So, I got my 52 Teas order today. (YAY!)

But when I opened the post office bag, I found there was a tiny tear in this package (less yay), so it became the first one I decided to try. There is also a bit of tea in the bottom of my purse now from transporting the bag to work. So my purse pretty much smells amazing now. And I get awesome tea at work. So it’s kind of a double win.

What does my purse smell like now, you might be wondering. Banana Runts and Instant Vanilla Pudding. Like I said. Pretty amazing.

And the taste! It tastes like Jello banana pudding. I’m floored. It tastes just like creamy banana with hints of vanilla and coconut. This tea would be so good cold too (like banana pudding is served) or as a latte (extra creaminess). Even so, I’m just really enjoying my hot cup.

Curiosity lead me to making a cup as a latte, despite my fears that it might taste like spiced lotion.

The good news is it doesn’t taste like spiced lotion.

The bad news is that it tasted like melted lotion without spice. Couldn’t even finish my cup. Ew.

Secondly, has anyone else ever used the Burt’s Bees Carrot Nutritive Daycream? Because that is EXACTLY what this tea smells like (with maybe a little extra sweetness). Did a blind smell test on Fiance too, and he said he thought he was smelling two blobs of my facecream.

This smell probably kind of dampened my goodwill towards this tea right from the go. But, onwards!

The tea itself brewed a really nice copper color and smells a little spicier than it’s dry counterpart. I taste allspice with a touch of carrot initially. It has a nice mouthfeel and little astringency. I definitely get the impression that this could be like drinking a carrot cake. Just not a carrot cake I think I’d like to eat.

I’d really like to try adding milk and sugar on my next cup to make it more desserty and creamy, but I fear it will be like ingesting my lotion sprinkled with spices.

I got this as a sample with my last Bluebird order and let me just say it smells AMAZING. It’s the most raspberry smelling of raspberry teas I’ve ever raspberried. It had that really fresh and fruity and natural smell that just screams amazing iced tea. So. I cold steeped about a 6oz cup for about 7ish hours and really impatiently waited.

And then it tasted like a big ole cup of rooibos with raspberry.

I’m not sure why I didn’t think it would. You’d think I’d seriously know better by now. (But it smelled sooo good and my hopes were so high). No review as fiance had to drink my disappointment. Sigh.

I had to dump out my cup at work. It just smelled like a big, artificial hot mess. I oversteeped by a minute or so, but it didn’t really matter while my sense of smell was screaming BAIL SHIP anyway. :/

This tea makes a really tasty latte. Really tasty. The milk and sugar do wonders for the mediocre chocolate flavor. I’m glad Fiance kept forgetting to bring this to work!

Lots of body, nice and creamy really nice nutty easily identifiable pistachio taste. There’s a little bit of a toasty note and a tiny vegetal hit from the green tea. Yum!
