Settling down to a breakfast of french bread and brie I am working on my second pot of this wonderfully scented tea. The aroma is akin to the finest cake frosting. Not so much in the teeth aching sugar dream but in its utterly beautiful vanilla fragrance. The leaves are that sad mix of autumn hues and still birth greens. Together they unfurl marvelously in the pot.

If you are not sold on the brewing, just let the leaves rest and they will impart their scent in such a way you’d believe that elves had been baking in your kitchen all night.

The liquid is a pleasant amber of which I like to spoil with milk. I can safely say it is a gem without. On a lighter note, this tea is very forgiving, at least with me. Upon our first acquaintance I left this darling along for 5 minutes. Horrible I know. However I did not find the brew overly bitter if it was bitter at all. All in all, it was a charming cup.

Happy Memorial Day! And this will be my tea of choice… for a little while at least. I have to pacify my Starbucks cravings while I unwind from duty. Fabulous flavor which ALWAYS fits the bill.

I have tin of this and am not happy with it. It’s a fine tea but not a favorite. Free to good home just drop a line. Thanks

what a beauty. i am smitter with fragrant teas and this one is beautiful. It is scented with Magnolia of all things and having tried a per-uh with the same proclaimed scent, i was a bit fearful. i was overcome. The scent lingers for hours… if you can let tea set for hours… and i can when on watch but then i drink tea cold too. at any rate, i haven’t tried a re-steep to see how far the frangrance lasts but it is pleasing and pronounced. i don’t think it tastes perfumey but it teeters on the edge and that is why i think a re-steep might fair better. No matter, this is yet another enjoyable tea!

Love this! This tea has been a recent companion to my watch standing and post watch breakfasts! It has a wonderful flavor and goes delightfully with milk. i honestly had to order a second set, not just for the cool tattoos, but because there just wasn’t enough of this sea going mate in one can for an ol’ salt like me!
This is a must try and re-try for anybody and everybody who simply wants a good cup of tea. :)

Took this tea on deployment and it was the perfect pick me up after a horrible dinner of under done fish or over baked chicken. Its licorice flavor was charming and yet not over powering and the scent upon first approach is awakening. While i love honey in my tea this one holds the pleasssant ability to do quiet well without.
