10 Tasting Notes
Very delicious tea! I love certain flavors and aromas to stand out in tea, yet I’m not a flavored tea person. This tea has an incredible flavor profile from hints of peach to strong lemon-grassy notes. Im in love!
Flavors: Floral, Grass, Lemongrass, Peach
Fantastic tea! super versatile but also light and gentle. The number of flavors I could get from one sip really blew me away! The lingering flavor of honey as well as the hints of lemon make it one of my favorite springtime teas!
Flavors: Honey, Lemon, Nuts
Big fan of Muscatel teas and this one is in a league of its own! It has a complex but unique and very pleasant flavor profile! The main thing that comes to mind when drinking it is a fresh loaf of gingerbread and black tea
Flavors: Cinnamon, Creamy, Ginger, Muscatel
Fantastic oolong! Its very different than this company’s other oolong. This one I feel is much more robust and complex. It certainly depends on the mood you’re in, personally I prefer the Babylon, all though its an extremely hard decision for me to make.
Flavors: Pear, Peat
This is a great concept I’ve never enjoyed as much from any other company. the blend of the smooth grassy green tea and spices is fantastic! The only other tea that compares in my opinion is the emerald masala.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Clove, Lemongrass, Maple
I tried this tea when if first came out and was a little disappointed. It wasn’t bad in any sense of the word, but as an Earl Grey fan I felt let down. Although I was recently ordering from C&M and a new blend of this tea was available and I was pleasantly surprised to say the least, I live a good comeback!
Flavors: Creamy, Dark Chocolate, Flowers, Orange
Preparation
I was always prone to drinking Darjeelings whenever offered a black tea, purely because of the reputation that the name holds. Although when my close friend gave me this Assam to try it certainly broadened my tea horizons and destroyed a few stereotypes! Now it ranks as one of my favorite black teas!
Flavors: Caramel, Honey, Peat
