19 Tasting Notes
Deeply jasmine with the nuttiness of great white tea, and multiple steeps! It’s amazing in a tea jar with continuous hot water poured over it, for most of my afternoon pick me up. But I really have to be in the mood for a perfumed cup to drink it.
Preparation
I buy this once in a while as a treat, it’s a little spendy, but unique as a blend, and I love it for night time drinking. It has the tartness of hibiscus and the bright red hue for prosperity. It’s also sweet and without any caffeine it’s a calming cup for me in the evening.
Preparation
will you give the same review on our website that is www.imperialtea.com. It will really helpful to other customers to understand tea by reading your review.
Creamy, balanced between the fragrant bergamot and the creamy vanilla. I like the big, bold leaf of this tea. The tea’s strong enough, too, to offset any of the dreaded “creamsicle” portential here, it’s still definitely tea. It’s amazing with milk, and I actually didn’t taste any nut influences.
Preparation
The added orange flavoring does not do this tea any favors, it comes out like Constant Comment, just a brashly flavored orange tea. I like the presentation with the flowers, but this isn’t as subtle as Earl Grey should be, and I don’t taste or smell the supposed addition of vanilla to the mix. It’s also odd that Adagio says that bergamot is harsh, because in a good Earl Grey, the bergamot is a subtle, smooth thing, but in Adagio’s Earl Grey it is very harsh. I’m sorry I ordered ounces of it instead of just the sample.
Preparation
Good, strong tea for waking up with, excellent with milk and bitter with too long a steep, it’s wonderful when I’m not quite awake enough to get it going. One 2-cup Chatsford pot will do me for the morning. Rich enough and red enough to be really excellent.
What’s a tea jar?
It’s also known as a tea bottle? Mine is a double walled glass tumbler with a filter that fits in the mouth and a lid that can go on it. http://www.branders.com/product/14oz-personalized-double-wall-glass-bottles-140133/ has an example.
Cool. Like a tall glass.
Yup!
