11 Tasting Notes
I dont know what it is about this tea but it smells AMAZING. I can’t stop smelling it. I want it as an air freshener! I just stocked up on a bunch of this rooibos, its one of the teas that made me fall in love with rooibos. personal favourite :) I like to leave it steeping in a tea pouch with some vanilla soy milk!
Preparation
Although I drink a lot of tea I’m not a huge fan of teaopia as most of my tea is from davids and teavana. But Lovely Lavender was an exception. If you’ve tried this tea I’m sure you’ve also tried it as a latte. With some vanilla bean syrup and vanilla soy milk. Teaopia is stupid for getting rid of this tea because I always thought it was one of their best.
Preparation
I’m not a huge fan of flavoured black teas. I find the black tea overpowers the flavour.
But the pumpkin chai smells incredible, and I’ve finally found a way to enjoy it. A heaping 1.5 tsp of pumpkin chai steeped for 4 mins in one cup of boiling water. Then over the stove I mix a cup of vanilla soy milk in a sauce pan and add pumpkin spice latte syrup I bought at williams sanoma. You could probably use vanilla bean syrup too or just sweeten the soy milk with some agave or honey.
Preparation
The first time I tried this I think it was over-steeped because I found the after taste stronger than the actual tea.
When steeped properly its delicious! Tastes how it smells. I sweeten it with a bit of maple syrup to bring out the maple taste. Really good hot and can imagine its delicious cold too :) I recommend trying it. Make sure you use 2 heaping teaspoons to ensure it has enough flavour.
