8 Tasting Notes
I am not sure how much I liked this. Perhaps I would rename it burned marshmallow… The smokey flavor really was prevelant for me. It reminded me of drinking tea while sitting at a campfire (in the smoke) I would perhaps drink this again, but not regularly
Preparation
The smell of this tea in the bag is amazing! I first tried a sample from adagio in a tea bag that was included in my order. The ingredients were black tea, sunflower petals, and chestnut flavoring. This tea was heavenly, I could drink it black. I then ordered a 3 oz bag and the ingredients were black tea, chestnut flavor. It is not as good as the tea bag. I am trying to adjust the amount I add to the water to get the perfect cup of tea like my sample was. I dont belive the sunflower petals could have much to do with the difference in taste.
Preparation
This is my first tea that is not a flavored tea. I almost didn’t want to try it because the smell in the bag was a little bitter. The reason I decided to try darjeeling tea was because of the moscat tones I read about when trying Moscato wine. I was so afraid this tea would be bitter, but with the smallest amount of sweetner I was surprised at the sweetness of the tea and how the warm smell really did have moscat tones. This is a nice relaxing evening tea for me.
Preparation
The smell of this tea is heavenly. Not too strong it smells like a peppermint patty. When brewed it tasted as good as it smells. I love that the mint is not overpowering and it leaves a nice minty taste in your mouth when you are finished. The sweeter chocolate and vanilla come through even more witha bit of sweetener added to the tea. I drink 2-3 glasses of this per day.
