A robust tea that makes one think of leather and smoke. But don’t let it frighten you off; it’s got plenty of heart. This tea is full of gruff flavor between the pu erh dante and gunpowder. The hazelnut is faint among the presence of the other two teas, but the blend is comforting in a way that reminds you of curling up in your father’s armchair, wrapped in a well worn flannel shirt.

Flavors: Leather, Smoke

Preparation
190 °F / 87 °C 2 min, 15 sec 1 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML

Bio

I’m an avid drinker of black, green, and white teas. I also enjoy oolong and the occasional herbal. I am somewhat experimental by blending my own teas from what’s in my cupboard, which is a collection of local shops and larger online retailers.

I strongly prefer hot tea over iced, without sugar, and only rarely add milk, usually to cool down my black teas.
