I pulled this tin out of the back of my tea cupboard today. It isn’t a good as I remember. It was bitter even after adding milk and sugar. It did, however, make my house smell lovely. I think it deserves another chance, so I’ll try again tomorrow with a shorter steep time.

Hot Cinnamon Spice may be my favorite tea, but since I tend to overindulge I’m trying out Herbal Hot Cinnamon Spice. I think I actually prefer this herbal variety over the original and, as a bonus, it won’t keep me up all night.

I bought this because of the high rating, but it is a disappointment. It tastes and smells like weak vegetable broth. I don’t get any butter, caramel or other rich notes.
I’m fairly new to unflavored green teas, so maybe my palate needs to mature. I’m going to save this for winter and use it in vegetable broth or cold-fighting tea blends.

This taste a lot like those powdered instant spiced cider packets. Very artificial. I actually like the powdered fake cider more than I like this.

I have a sore throat and this feels wonderful. I love spicy cinnamon. I’m not getting any apple here, but that’s ok.

This is very interesting. It smells and tastes and like grapefruit. I wonder if that’s the gooseberries? My cup is almost gone and it was a very small sample, so they only way to analyze further is to try a resteep.

The smell almost ruins this for me. It’s an artifical yogurt-covered strawberry scent. It’s very tart. Definitely needs sweetener. In the first steep all I tasted was hibiscus. The second steep brought out the artifical strawberry yogurt flavor.

Such a pretty light gold color. This is sweet on it’s own, but also good with added sweetener and a splash of milk.

Like many fruit and nut blend infusions, this smells wonderful, but doesn’t have much flavor. I’ll try again with less water and maybe a bit of sweetener.

I love hibiscus. It tastes like cranberry juice. I usually drink hibiscus tea iced and, like cranberry juice, sweetened. The apple and nuts make this ok hot. I enjoyed it, but I’m not sure if this will replace cold steeped bulk hibiscus flowers for me.
