259 Tasting Notes
Trying a new-to-me green tea from o-cha.com. This kabusecha has a very, very light liquor and mild flavor, slightly sweet. Grassy, not bitter. 175 is a bit hotter than I usually steep my Japanese green tea at, but I decided to follow the suggested preparation parameters marked on the packaging. I’m extremely happy with the results!
Preparation
Simple, a little more spicy, a little more wild-tasting than Harney & Sons’ English Breakfast. By “wild”, I just mean not “Classic British stiff-upper-lip”, and more … outside, in the brisk morning air, listening to the tide roll in.
Preparation
A solid tea that brings to mind 400+ year old hard wood furniture and tapestries, an old stone home, a comforting fire in the fireplace. Aged? Classic? Vintage? Historic? Maybe all these things, maybe not. A tea that tastes from another time, and takes you there.
omg ! that why i loved this tea so much! Andes chocolate mint!! my grandfather use to give me these as a treat : )
