We released a few new spam prevention features just as those threads started up, and they stopped right after. Fingers crossed that the new features will help keep it under control.

Possible anti-spam feature that’s in use in another forum that I use. I don’t know if you’d be able to implement it here but I’ll share it.

Have a (Report) or similar button on posts or tealogs or teas or all and after a certain number of entries (one per person) it automatically hides it for everyone and puts themselves in a queue for you to look at and deal with.

Yea, that’s one route we’ve considered. It’s a bit more expensive to build, but definitely an option moving forward.

FYI, we recently added the ability to create moderators who can remove spammers and their content. It’s not much, but should help keep the forums cleaner and make it so you don’t have to wait around for me. I’ll be posting more info on it shortly.
