Which new features do you want the most?
Has anyone been keeping track of how many weekends in a row the dashboard has stopped working? There must be a better way of managing this site.
I JUST sent an e-mail a few minutes ago, and they just fixed it now… I asked in the e-mail if they could just check on mondays to see if the dashboard is working. Since this happens every weekend, I’m assuming it is something they keep fixing all week long? That must be a pain for the tech team…
I agree, it must be a pain to fix this all the time. I hope they don’t give up on us.
Just checking in to see if there are any plans or work in progress to make an app? This seems like a fairly straightforward site to bring to mobile. I could potentially volunteer some time towards getting this done (I have a background in computer science).
There’s no progress on the site, period. Adagio keeps the lights on but nothing else. Any app would have to be completely user-created and I’m certainly not willing to put in the time ha ha (I’m a software engineer as well).
It’s been over a decade since any significant updates or new features were added to this site. Many of us were hopeful that Adagio would bring some positive changes but as Cameron said, they’re just keeping the lights on.
The Myteapal app offers a lot of the functionality I had hoped to see in a Steepster app. It’s great for logging tea notes and organizing your cupboard but the social aspect is still lacking. It would be awesome if there was a way to post directly to Steepster from the app. I actually discussed this with the app developer a while back and suggested an integration but for whatever reason, it never came to fruition.
On a side note, it’s cool to see so many tea enthusiasts here with a computer science background. I’m a developer turned cybersecurity engineer myself.
